MEMORANDUM ON PROMOTING AN INCLUSIVE AND EQUAL WORK ENVIRONMENT
The labour market today still faces significant stereotypes, inequalities and discrimination, especially concerning people with intellectual disabilities or other special needs. These individuals often remain underemployed despite their potential. At the same time, inclusive workplaces foster innovation, increase employee commitment, and enhance public trust in companies.
This memorandum invites employers to take the first step toward an inclusive and fair workplace. By signing, you express your commitment to progress in this direction, even if practical actions are still to come.
Objective of the memorandum:
To promote a work environment free from discrimination and to support equal opportunities for everyone, regardless of a personal characteristic, identity or abilities.
To achieve the goal, we commit in our organization to:
- Recognize the value of diversity – create a culture in which everyone feels accepted, regardless of gender, age, disability, ethnicity, sexual orientation or other aspects of personality.
- Support equal opportunities – promote fairness in the workplace in all employment processes, including recruitment, training and career development.
- Create a safe environment for feedback – be open to employee suggestions and possible signals of misunderstandings and violations with a willingness to resolve them.
- Involve management – ensure that management representatives are interested and open to implementing inclusive practices step by step.
- Learn and develop – demonstrate a willingness to participate in training over time and implement initiatives that promote inclusion.
This memorandum is a signal of readiness to move towards positive change. We believe that adhering to the principles of equality strengthens the core values and sustainability of our organization. We believe that inclusion is a choice and an opportunity to create a better future together.
